A New Story in the Heart of Tokyo
In a city where old traditions stand alongside modern skyscrapers, a small café offers refuge from the sweltering summer heat. As customers arrive seeking comfort, companionship, and understanding, players will listen to deeply personal stories and influence how those stories unfold.
The choices made during conversations can affect character outcomes, unlock hidden content and lead to multiple endings. Interactive hashtags within the in-game social network, Tomodachill, allow players to uncover additional insights into their customers' lives and the world around them.
Meet the Customers
Among the new faces players will encounter are:
• **Kenji**, a traditional kappa salaryman searching for purpose and meaning following retirement.
• **Vin**, the Barista's assistant, who is struggling to come to terms with a fractured past and the lingering consequences of a previous disaster.
As relationships develop, players will learn more about each character's hopes, regrets and personal challenges.
More Than Just Making Coffee
Behind the counter, players will brew both hot and cold drinks while engaging with customers through branching dialogue options. Every interaction has the potential to alter the course of a story, encouraging multiple playthroughs to discover all possible outcomes.
Tomodachill, the game's social media platform, also returns as a key feature. Players can follow conversations beyond the café walls, engage with customers online and uncover hidden posts that provide additional context to ongoing storylines.
A Familiar Soundtrack Returns
Andrew "AJ" Jeremy, the composer behind both Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2, returns to provide an all-new lo-fi soundtrack. The relaxing music accompanies every shift behind the counter, creating the laid-back atmosphere that has become synonymous with the series.
