Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection is now available for Nintendo Switch 2, bringing Blizzard Entertainment’s action RPG and its major expansions together in one package.
Released on September 15, 2026, the collection includes the Diablo IV base game, supplied as a code in a box, alongside both the Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred expansions. Together, they cover the complete Age of Hatred storyline and give Switch 2 players access to the expanded Diablo IV experience from the outset.
What’s included in the Age of Hatred Collection?
The Nintendo Switch 2 release contains:
• Diablo IV base game (Code in a Box)
• Vessel of Hatred expansion
• Lord of Hatred expansion
That means players can experience the main Diablo IV campaign before continuing into the events of Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred without needing to purchase the expansions separately.
The collection also opens up the wider selection of playable classes featured across the game and its expansions. This includes the Spiritborn, introduced with Vessel of Hatred, as well as the new Paladin and Warlock classes.
Vessel of Hatred takes players into the dangerous region of Nahantu. At the same time, Lord of Hatred expands the adventure further with a journey to the Isles of Skovos.

Prices are close across all five retailers, with ShopTo currently listed as the cheapest option above by a small margin.
The Diablo IV base game is supplied as a download code rather than a physical game card, despite the collection being sold in a retail box.
The complete Age of Hatred storyline
Blizzard describes Diablo IV as a dark fantasy action RPG in which Mephisto, the Prime Evil of Hatred, threatens the future of Sanctuary as his influence spreads throughout the world.
Players battle through a large campaign filled with demons, cultists and other enemies while building increasingly powerful characters, collecting legendary equipment and progressing into Diablo IV’s endgame activities.
The Age of Hatred Collection brings the different chapters of that story together. Players can confront the threats of the original campaign before continuing into Vessel of Hatred and Lord of Hatred, where Mephisto’s growing influence becomes an increasingly important part of the story.
The package provides access to eight distinct classes, including Paladin, Warlock and Spiritborn, alongside new regions, campaigns and endgame challenges introduced across the expansions.
Diablo IV also supports cross-play and cross-progression, allowing players to continue their characters across supported platforms.
For Nintendo Switch 2 owners who have yet to enter Sanctuary, Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection provides the base game and both expansions in a single release, making it the most straightforward way to experience the full Age of Hatred storyline on Nintendo’s latest console.
