Warner Bros has announced a brand new SteelBook edition of Eyes Wide Shut, bringing Stanley Kubrick’s final film to 4K UHD Blu-ray in the UK.
Starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, the provocative psychological drama explores the fragile boundaries of trust, desire, and jealousy within a seemingly perfect marriage. The film follows a couple whose relationship begins to unravel after a deeply personal confession leads to a strange and unsettling night filled with temptation and hidden desires.
Originally released in 1999, Eyes Wide Shut marked Kubrick’s final film and has since become one of the director’s most debated and studied works. Its dreamlike atmosphere, lingering mystery and themes of intimacy and obsession continue to fascinate audiences decades later.
4K SteelBook Release
This new limited SteelBook edition will present the film on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, allowing viewers to experience Kubrick’s meticulous visual style with improved picture quality and detail. The set will include two discs, though full technical specifications and bonus features have not yet been confirmed.
At the time of writing, Warner Bros has not announced an official release date. However, pre-orders are already live with a retail price of around £34.99. The final SteelBook artwork has also yet to be revealed, and we’ll update once Warner shares the official design.

Official Description
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman star as a married couple entangled in an intricate web of jealousy and sexual obsession in Stanley Kubrick’s final cinematic offering.
At a Christmas party hosted by wealthy, unconventional Victor Ziegler (Sydney Pollack), provocative advances and innocent flirtations arouse suspicion as high-society physician Dr. William Harford (Cruise) and his wife, Alice (Kidman), watch each other from a distance. Later that night, the couple confront their intimate fantasies, revealing desires that challenge their seemingly perfect relationship.
