PlayStation has revealed two new Grand Theft Auto VI limited edition DualSense wireless controllers for PS5, with both models set to launch alongside GTA 6 on November 19.
Announced during today's State of Play, the new DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition are inspired by the distinctive look and atmosphere of Vice City.
Both GTA 6 PS5 controllers will cost £74.99, with pre-orders opening on September 10 at 10:00am BST.
GTA 6 DualSense controllers bring Vice City style to PS5
The two limited edition DualSense controllers are designed around different sides of Vice City, from its bright coastline and pastel skies to its neon-lit nightlife.
Both controllers feature a shimmering, colour-shifting finish that combines shades inspired by a Vice City sunset with the glow of the city's neon lights.
PlayStation has also added custom palm tree details moulded directly into each controller, giving the designs a tactile element alongside official Grand Theft Auto VI branding.
While both controllers share the same overall Vice City theme, the black and white editions have their own distinct look.
GTA 6 White Limited Edition DualSense controller
The DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition is inspired by Vice City during the day.
Its design reflects the setting's white sands, pastel skies and relaxed coastal style, giving it a brighter look than the black version.
The GTA 6 White Limited Edition DualSense controller will be released in limited quantities globally through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers.
That means buyers will have more options when trying to secure the white model at launch.
GTA 6 Black Limited Edition DualSense controller
The DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition takes its inspiration from Vice City after dark.
Its darker finish is designed to capture the energy of the city's nightlife, including the neon lighting closely associated with GTA 6's version of Vice City.
Availability will be more restricted than the white edition.
The GTA 6 Black Limited Edition DualSense controller will be sold exclusively through direct.playstation.com and will only be available in limited quantities.
That exclusivity could make the black controller particularly difficult to find once pre-orders begin.
GTA 6 will use DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
PlayStation has also confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will support the DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
During gameplay, the controller will respond dynamically to the action through physical feedback and changing trigger resistance.
The features are intended to bring more of Jason and Lucia's story into the player's hands, adding another layer of feedback to the sights, sounds and action of GTA 6.
While further details about how individual gameplay mechanics will use the DualSense features have not yet been revealed, players can expect the technology to react to different situations throughout the game.
GTA 6 DualSense controller price and release date
Both Grand Theft Auto VI limited edition DualSense controllers have a recommended retail price of £74.99.
The controllers are scheduled to launch on November 19, the same day Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release.
Pre-orders will open on September 10 at 10:00am BST.

The GTA 6 White Limited Edition DualSense controller will be available from PlayStation Direct and selected participating retailers worldwide.
The GTA 6 Black Limited Edition DualSense controller will only be available through PlayStation Direct.
With both designs being produced in limited quantities, stock could move quickly once orders open, especially for the PlayStation Direct-exclusive black version.
Buyers looking for either controller will also be able to track GTA 6 DualSense stock availability through the Stock Checker mobile app on iOS and Android, as well as on the Stock Checker Discord server.
With Grand Theft Auto VI expected to be one of the biggest gaming releases of the year, the two Vice City-inspired controllers are likely to be among the most sought-after PS5 accessories when pre-orders begin on September 10.
