LEGO Art is expanding its collection of masterpieces with Gustav Klimt – The Kiss (31221), a stunning new set created in collaboration with Vienna's Belvedere Museum. Designed for adult builders, the 4,000-piece model transforms one of the world's most celebrated paintings into an elegant brick-built display, combining intricate decorative elements with shimmering metallic gold bricks.
Inspired by Gustav Klimt's iconic masterpiece, this premium LEGO Art set captures the distinctive style of the Austrian modernist painter. Decorative circles, spirals, flowers, textured studs and metallic gold elements work together to recreate the luxurious appearance and emotion of the original artwork. At the same time, Klimt's signature has also been faithfully incorporated into the design.
The project was developed in partnership with the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, where the original The Kiss has been displayed for over a century. The collaboration aims to bring one of the most recognisable works of the Art Nouveau movement into homes in an entirely new format.
Measuring over 60 cm (23.5 in.) high, 54 cm (21 in.) wide and 4 cm (1.5 in.) deep, the finished model is designed as a striking piece of wall art. A built-in hanging mechanism on the back makes it easy to display, allowing builders to showcase the artwork as part of their home décor.
