LEGO has officially unveiled LEGO Ideas The X-Files (21369), bringing one of television's most iconic sci-fi series to brick form for the first time. Based on a fan-created submission that won the LEGO Ideas '90s Nostalgia Challenge, the set recreates Fox Mulder's office alongside a memorable alien arrival scene, packed with references that longtime fans of the series will appreciate.
Designed for adult builders, the set contains 1,478 pieces. It offers a display model that celebrates the mystery, conspiracy and paranormal investigations that made The X-Files a cult classic.
A Faithful Tribute to The X-Files
At the heart of the set is a detailed recreation of Fox Mulder's FBI office, complete with authentic accessories and hidden details inspired by the television series. Builders can remove the desk section to reveal the office interior, making it easy to admire the carefully designed workspace.
Alongside the office sits a woodland scene depicting an alien encounter. A transparent support allows the included UFO to appear as though it is hovering above the forest, creating an eye-catching display that complements the office build while also working as a standalone scene.
Standing over 30 cm (12 in.) high, 23 cm (9 in.) wide and 23 cm (9 in.) deep, the finished model is designed to make an impressive display piece for fans of the series.
