LEGO has revealed the LEGO Art The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover (67012), a striking new display set inspired by one of the most memorable Joker comic-book covers. Featuring 1,849 pieces, the set recreates the cover of Detective Comics #880 from 2011, bringing the Clown Prince of Crime to life with an intricate, layered 3D design.
Designed for adult LEGO fans, Batman collectors, and comic-book enthusiasts, the artwork captures The Joker's unsettling expression while hiding details throughout the build.
An Iconic Comic Cover Reimagined in LEGO
The original Detective Comics #880 cover is famous for its haunting close-up of The Joker's face. LEGO has transformed the illustration into a three-dimensional wall-art piece, using layers and building techniques to recreate the character's sinister grin and piercing stare.
Rather than simply reproducing the artwork as a flat mosaic, the set uses layered construction to add depth and texture to the finished model.
Look closely at The Joker's face, and you'll discover several hidden elements worked into the deeper layers of the design. These include Batarangs, swords, flowers and the villain's signature "Ha, ha, ha" lettering.
These small details add another dimension to the building experience, encouraging fans to explore the artwork as they assemble it.
A Large-Scale Display Piece for Batman Fans
With 1,849 pieces, LEGO Art The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover (67012) offers an engaging building experience for adults aged 18 and over.
Once completed, the artwork measures over 20 inches (51 cm) high, 15 inches (38 cm) wide and 2 inches (5 cm) deep.
Its substantial size and dramatic design make it a natural centrepiece for a LEGO collection, gaming room, home office or Batman-themed display.
The combination of comic-book artwork and three-dimensional LEGO construction also gives the set a distinctive appearance compared with traditional LEGO Batman models.
