Capcom and Nintendo have brought Resident Evil into the amiibo range for the first time, with new figures based on Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil Requiem.
The two Resident Evil Requiem amiibo launched on July 30, 2026, giving fans the chance to add two of the game's main characters to their collections while also unlocking exclusive content on Nintendo Switch 2.
It marks a notable first for the long-running survival horror franchise. Despite Resident Evil appearing on numerous Nintendo consoles over the years, Grace and Leon are the first characters from the series to receive official amiibo figures.
Grace Ashcroft amiibo
Grace Ashcroft is one of the two protagonists of Resident Evil Requiem. She is represented in her own detailed amiibo figure.
Using the Grace Ashcroft amiibo with the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem unlocks an exclusive weapon skin for Grace's S&S M232.
As with other compatible amiibo, players tap the figure against the NFC touchpoint on their Nintendo Switch 2 system to access the associated in-game content.
Leon S. Kennedy amiibo
Resident Evil veteran Leon S. Kennedy also receives his first amiibo as part of the Resident Evil Requiem range.
Tapping Leon's amiibo while playing Resident Evil Requiem on Nintendo Switch 2 unlocks an exclusive weapon skin for the Requiem weapon.
Leon has been one of Resident Evil's most recognisable characters since his debut in Resident Evil 2, making his addition to the amiibo collection a particularly significant release for long-time fans of the series.

Nintendo's amiibo range has featured characters from numerous Nintendo franchises as well as third-party series. Still, Resident Evil had never previously received its own figures.
The arrival of Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy therefore represents another milestone for the franchise. It gives Resident Evil collectors something completely new to track down.
