Flight simulation fans will soon have a new way to experience the skies of Strangereal. Thrustmaster has officially revealed the T.Flight Hotas Neo Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve Edition, a specially licensed HOTAS (Hands On Throttle and Stick) controller designed for Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve. Launching on September 29, 2026, the new controller is compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC, alongside a separate version for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Designed for aspiring pilots and longtime Ace Combat veterans alike, the T.Flight Hotas Neo aims to deliver a more immersive flying experience with dedicated flight controls inspired by the legendary pilots of Strangereal.

Built for Precision

At the heart of the controller is 16-bit Hall Effect technology, powered by Thrustmaster's H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology). This provides smooth, highly accurate input while reducing wear over time, helping maintain precision even after countless missions.

Pilots have access to seven control axes, 16 programmable action buttons, a rapid-fire trigger, and a multidirectional hat switch, making it easy to manage everything from dogfights to precision manoeuvres.

Feel Every Battle

One of the standout additions is built-in vibration feedback, allowing players to feel missile impacts, cannon fire and turbulence directly through the joystick. The extra tactile feedback adds another layer of immersion during intense aerial combat.

The HOTAS also features a detachable throttle, giving players the flexibility to use the joystick on their lap or separate the throttle for a more traditional desktop cockpit setup.

Flexible Flight Controls

The controller includes a dual rudder system, allowing pilots to choose between controlling aircraft rotation with the joystick's Z-axis or using the throttle's tilting lever. Combined with adjustable joystick resistance and an ergonomic layout, the controller can be tailored to suit different flying styles and aircraft.

Whether you're engaging in high-speed dogfights or navigating complex missions, the design aims to provide comfort during extended play sessions.
