What's Included in the Steelbook Edition?

• Booklet

The edition will be available for both PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, giving collectors another way to own the remastered stealth classic.
A Stealth Classic Returns
Originally released in 1998 by Looking Glass Studios, Thief: The Dark Project helped define the stealth genre with its innovative use of light and sound. Rather than encouraging direct combat, the game rewards players for staying hidden, moving quietly and avoiding enemies.
Developed by Nightdive Studios, the remaster brings the classic adventure to modern platforms using the studio's proprietary KEX Engine.
Players once again take control of Garrett, a master thief who relies on stealth, cunning and an assortment of specialised tools to complete missions, steal valuable treasures and uncover a story of deception and revenge.
The remastered release includes the original Thief: The Dark Project, all additional content from Thief Gold, and an entirely new campaign created by the team behind The Black Parade expansion.
Modern enhancements include improved textures, character models, and animations, along with quality-of-life features such as a weapons and items wheel and a mission selector.
The game also retains its maze-like environments, reactive enemies and three difficulty settings per mission, with varying objectives to encourage repeat playthroughs.
